Solar kits

Choosing a ready-made solar thermal kit makes it easier to purchase a solution that meets the needs of the residents. The components of the kit, including the number of solar collectors and the capacity of the hot water storage tank, are already optimally selected, eliminating the risk of misconfiguration of the system.

Increasing importance of domestic water heating costs

The cost of heating domestic hot water is an increasing part of domestic operating costs. The explanation for this is simple. The heat consumption for heating water depends on the number of residents in the house and their needs.

This has not changed significantly in recent years. In turn, heat consumption for heating buildings decreased significantly. This is a result of the increasingly high energy efficiency standards of buildings. While in old buildings the share of heat for domestic hot water heating in the total annual heat balance usually did not exceed 10-20%, in new energy-efficient buildings it often reaches 50%. Economical domestic water heating has therefore now taken on particular importance for achieving low heat bills for the home.

Solar water heating system – the way to lower costs

Compared to other heating appliances, solar thermal collectors stand out for their unrivalled energy efficiency. This is because traditional appliances such as gas or coal boilers and even heat pumps require fuel or electricity to operate. A solar thermal system, on the other hand, requires almost 100 per cent solar energy for its operation and only a trace amount of electricity to power a small circulating pump. This keeps the cost of heating water through the solar system to a minimum.
